about us
Through motion sensors, interactive systems, and physiological data, we create immersive artistic collaborations, bridging art and innovation, and engaging audiences on a deeply emotional level.
Philip Gabriel Perez is a dancer, choreographer, and creator exploring the intersection of movement and technology.
A seasoned performer, he has spent several seasons dancing with Boulder Ballet, and his artistry has been recognized with awards such as second place at Miami International Ballet Competition (2019) and a mention in Pointe Magazine’s “Standout Performances of 2024: Readers’ Choice.”
With a background in classical ballet, he has expanded beyond traditional performance, integrating sensors and physiological data to redefine how dance is experienced. He is fully certified in ABT’s National Training Curriculum, and his research includes the ChoreoTech Lab at Jacob’s Pillow, where he explored emerging technologies in choreography.
He founded Dance Continua as a platform to push the boundaries of movement, using technology to amplify human connection, enhance audience engagement, and explore the body as the ultimate technology.

Emma Michaux is a choreographer and dancer born and raised in Colorado. She has created multiple works premiered with Boulder Ballet and has choreographed for Colorado Ballet Society, the Denver Academy of Ballet, and numerous studios across the Denver metro area. Her choreographic work extends beyond the stage, having collaborated on dance films with Charcoal Pictures and San Souci Dance Festival.
As a professional dancer, Emma has performed with Wonderbound Contemporary Ballet and Boulder Ballet, as well as guesting with companies nationwide. Her choreographic vision blends the transportive quality of classical ballet—akin to cinema’s ability to immerse an audience in another world—with a drive to push the boundaries of form, technical brilliance, and emotional depth. Through her work, she seeks to explore the intricacies of the human experience, crafting movement that resonates both visually and viscerally.
